DC Dyke March is a grassroots group of community minded dykes enacting a vision for queer/dyke liberation in DC. Every year, we plan a permit-less and anti-corporate march, as well as other community events throughout our planning season.

We work to raise awareness and build a stronger community of dykes in the DMV (DC metro area). We fight against white supremacy, capitalism, homophobia, transphobia and other forms of oppression that have contributed to the violence and structural oppression we face.

We hope to build upon the work of our elders and leave a foundation for future dykes to expand on a legacy of activism so that all dykes can continue to celebrate our existence and resistance.

We raise money during the planning season which is used to support community events, pay dyke artists, buy supplies, and donate to mutual aid organizations after Dyke March.
